Last night Team USA’s Steph Curry assist to James Harden was one of those rare instinctive basketball plays that makes basketball so exciting. Continue reading “Steph Curry’s sweet behind the back, no look bounce pass for James Harden dunk (GIF)”
I’m a few months late on this, but Jeff Teague’s killer crossover on Evan Turner is worth re-posting even after three months and even if you haven’t already seen it. Continue reading “Jeff Teague crosses over Evan Turner (GIF)”
Everything is awesome. I am not much of a dog-liking-cat-video-internet-meme-kind-of-guy, but this security video of a dog, a young boy and cat is legitimate. Continue reading “Gif: dog attacks boy, cat attacks dog, cat chases dog away”
Toward the end of the game against Ohio State yesterday, Nik Stauskas could be seen telling one of the Michigan coaches “get me the ball” during a timeout. Hey, if that’s what the Big Ten Player of the Year and only unanimous selection to the All-Big Ten Team wants, let’s see what happens. Continue reading “Nik Stauskas spins, goes up and under Ohio State (GIF)”
Are they still talking about how great and tough Aaron Craft is? What about all the less than great things he did in the last 3 minutes against Michigan – why can’t we talk about that? Continue reading “Victory slips out of Aaron Craft’s hands (but the basketball was slippery!!!)”
I was going to say that there are too many GIFs out there, but then I thought “Is that a lie, Stuart?” Continue reading ““PO-TAY-TOES,” you idiot!”

I was stuck inside the last three days with the flu. Bad news for me, good news for my fellow comic book nerds because I just created all the GIFs you’ll ever want from the Avengers movie.
> I’m ashamed that with all the time I’ve spent laughing at, and enjoying the internet, that I have yet to pay my respect to the internet with a proper GIF. Reason being is the GIF-making process just seemed like it was way too involved. That, and I haven’t found anything to ignite my passion.
Then Jeremy Lin went and did something awesome (TWICE) and I wanted an easy way to turn a short clip of a YouTube video into a GIF, so I could spread the Jeremy Lin gospel virally.
First, I tried a bunch of online GIF makers and ran head on into size limitations, websites that timed out, quality issues, and GIFs that were branded with the website name (annoying but I get it). Enter: Instagiffer Continue reading “How to turn YouTube videos into GIF files”
Jeremy Lin had 5 field goals last night — two three pointers and three reverse layups — in the Rockets’ win over the Memphis Grizzlies last night. Two of Lin’s reverse layups were just badazzxssssss – we’re talking reverse layups at full-speed, one-handed, acrobatic, adjust on the fly NBA shit. Continue reading “Jeremy Lin’s Reverse Layups vs. Memphis Grizzlies (GIF)”
Last night wasn’t Jeremy Lin’s best individual game statistically, but what he put together on both ends of the court is exactly what the Houston Rockets are looking from the point guard position. Continue reading “Jeremy Lin blocks Tony Parker (GIF); Rockets beat Spurs on X-Mas”
Getting through a long flight can be tough but luckily for us, airlines are making flight experiences more fun than ever before, but not all. As such, we need more airlines that provide a fun experience from take-off to landing. We need more Virgin Americas and fewer Frontier Airlines.
Instead of nickel and diming customers by masking fees as choices, Virgin America is busy improving customer experiences in a real way – they recently released an airline safety demonstration that unlike any other, and more importantly, can’t be ignored:
What’s the best part about a shirtless Chandler Parson come-hither stare at Jeremy Lin as he walks out of the shower? The moment Jeremy notices Chandy and is momentarily thrown off.
Whether you think it’s gay or you feel the need to label it a bromance, it’s all in good fun. Clearly the two have a playful friendship.
What do I find the most interesting as an experienced researcher on the Jeremy Lin-Chandler Parsons bromance? I’m glad I made you ask.
What makes me LOL the most about these Parsons-Lin pics and gifs are when Parsons takes the joking around too far; crosses a line that clearly makes Lin feel uncomfortable. BEST.
Chandler Parsons is becoming a semi-star in the NBA – Chandy makes for a great complimentary player to James Harden; he rebounds, defends, cuts, passes, shoots the three, and uses both hands effectively.
In the following GIF, Chandler shows his ability to use his right hand on Jeremy Lin: Continue reading “Chandler Parsons is right handed for Jeremy Lin”
