Jeremy Lin had 5 field goals last night — two three pointers and three reverse layups — in the Rockets’ win over the Memphis Grizzlies last night. Two of Lin’s reverse layups were just badazzxssssss – we’re talking reverse layups at full-speed, one-handed, acrobatic, adjust on the fly NBA shit.
The layups were so radazz that I took the word “badass,” replaced “bad” with “rad” and used “Z”s instead of “S” to show you just how exzited I am. Then, I created GIFs of both layups for you to enjoy in infinite loops:
This one was by far the most impressive because of the speed, angle and spin Lin had to put on the ball to convert the shot.
This one isn’t as impressive as the first, but scores points for difficulty in that Lin had to maneuver around both Mike Conley Jr. and Tony Allen in the intense fourth quarter. Lin scored 14 of his 18 points in the final period.
Really, I doubt you’ll find anything on the internet that covers Jeremy Lin reverse layups in such visual detail.
