Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodles (What’s in a name?)

What’s in the name?  When in Chinatown, the names of stores and restaurants can be nonsensical, include random numbers, and state ridiculous claims to the quality of their products, but sometimes the bravado lives up to the hype. In the case of Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodles located on Doyers street, their name tells you all you need to know.

You’re there for the hand-pulled noodles, not for the ambiance, decor, friendly customer service, airiness of the space… or the styrofoam cups.

You’re there for the homemade noodles, but you’ll like the price and the portions at Tasty Hand-Pulled Noodles. THPN’s menu serves up large plates of their pan fried noodles  – and you can choose from six types of their in-house, hand-pulled noodles served with chicken, beef, vegetable, shredded or roasted pork, duck, shrimp or seafood – all for between $6-9 bucks

When the dish arrives you can also add cilantro, vinegar, chili oil, soy sauce, or sriracha — all available on the table to add to your taste.
