If you’re looking to bring in all your social activity onto your WordPress blog, look no further than IFTTT.
Using their “recipes” is a lot less complicated than finding (and updating) WordPress plugins, customizing a theme, or Rebelmouse (which isn’t quite there yet).
For me, I’m using the following recipes to integrate my Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, so that tweets, photos, and updates are posted automatically. Works as advertised.
- Facebook photo status <creates> WordPress blog post
- Instagram photo <to> WordPress blog post
- Embed tweet <automatically> to WordPress blog post
Too easy, dude. I was searching for all these WordPress plugins, tested out Rebel Mouse, and was considering paying for a custom theme as a solution. Forget it. IFTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
