Goodbye, 5 POINTZ

5ptz center luxury condo

There’s a lot to be said for how disappointing (but not surprising) that 5pointz is finally being bulldozed. The “aerosol art center” has been on the verge of demolition for months.

The street art mecca recently had all of its wall paintings covered with white paint – an effort to make the inevitable razing less painful.

I’m happy I got to see 5 pointz, and obviously bummed that it will no longer be. Here’s some photos from my two trips to 5ptz.
