Lots of “firsts” since my move to the East Coast. After not having a car for the first time in 20 years, not having a microwave for the first time in 30 years is the next most jarring adjustment.

After spending a long, rough day traveling… I’m thankful that the Halal Guys were open at 11pm (2nd/14th) on Thanksgiving.
My current dim sum obsession is the fried taro puff dumplings, or wu gok (Cantonese). These little delicious suckers look like baby puffer fish that were stuffed with seasoned minced pork and deep fried for my gorging pleasure.
