The Financial District is getting a sweetgreen this month. The wait is nearly over for the Wall St. location.
Join the fast casual salad franchise on Tuesday, July 12th at 10:30 AM for their grand opening. All proceeds from their opening day (they’ll be open until 10 PM) will be donated to GrowNYC’s FoodBox Program to assist local farmers and bring fresh, seasonal produce to under-served communities.
Check out the official Facebook invite for the event. It doesn’t mention any free salads, but if the Upper East Side opening, Bleeker St. or NoMad openings were any indication, you just might be getting free freshness.

The new location’s address is 67 Wall St. in between Hanover and Pearl streets. This sweetgreen will be the first in the Financial District, and the tenth location in New York City. This will be the third NYC location opened in the first seven months of 2016 after opening in Greenwich Village back in April and opening their doors to an Upper East Side storefront just last month.
The company will open an East Village outpost in the next couple months.
