What I Found Out Today: Yesterday, a random Twitter user tweeted at me and asked me to tweet out “Yarrağimi Ye Fener.” I didn’t, of course, but the fact that they persisted eventually made me curious. Curious enough that I decided to plug it into Google and found that Yarrağimi ye fener is Turkish, and roughly translates to “Eat my dick, Fenerbahçe”
Fener is short for Fenerbahçe which is a Turkish futbol team. I discovered that it’s a chant/song used to provoke the team by their rival fans of Galatasaray and Beşiktaş.
