I’m not sure why I didn’t take to ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ like others have. I know that the film was purposefully light and funny, but I found it a bit too corny (and boring) for a superhero movie.
I don’t remember exactly the first time I came across my first Spider Ham comic book. All I know is that I was somewhere in my teens and was completely, utterly in love with the idea of the Marvel universe re-imagined as animals.
It’s hard to believe we’ve seen 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And all of it climaxing to this summer’s Avenger’s 3 movie “Infinity War”. Even though I expected this, I can’t help but geek the freak out when I think/read/think about readng/seeing this film.
If you’re not a comic movie fanboy or fangirl, it may seem like comic book movies come out too often as it is.
There’s a slew of reasons why people question whether Tom Holland is gay. It’s no different than the sexuality questions that surround any male celebrity. It happens all the time and it derives from our culture’s expectations of male behavior
It’s been a long time coming for Asian American male characters in the major comic book universes. We’ve had to be content with super-powered stereotypes Shang Chi, Sunfire and Collective Man, but we’ll finally have the first-ever Asian American lead character.
I finally saw Avengers: Age of Ultron and as much as I wanted to disregard the early lukewarm reviews and go in with an open mind, the film was ultimately disappointing.
The new Avergers film that I’ve been yapping about over the last several months is three days away from opening.
There’s a handful of comic characters that have come out in the last decade, but none of them as well-known as Iceman’s outing in “All-New X-Men” #40.
I’m trying not to think about how the new Avengers movie is coming out in less than 7 weeks.
Marvel is not done being a huge, slutty tease.
For about three seconds, I considered not watching the Avengers 2 trailer that was leaked online earlier today.
I’ve been following comic books for over thirty years now, so I’ve seen my share of ridiculous story lines, trends, and characters over the last three decades.
With Comic Con coming to an end today, there’s a lot of buzz about Marvel movies, especially the hype was focused on the next Avengers movie: Age of Ultron.
At San Diego Comic Con, the Comic Con of all Comic Cons, Marvel released special edition posters teasing the new Avengers film coming out in 2015. Each poster featured one Avenger and each was a 1/8 section to a larger fight scene.
A Rambling Review: X-Men: Days of Future Past With a graying Wolverine defending Kitty Pryde against an unseen menace on the cover of X-Men #141. I remember reading both X-Men #141 and #142 multiple times.
Pete Holmes created his initial Ex-Men sketch where Professor X fired Wolverine back in October 2013. The video was and continues to be YouTube gold with over 3.5 million views.
I was stuck inside the last three days with the flu. Bad news for me, good news for my fellow comic book nerds because I just created all the GIFs you’ll ever want from the Avengers movie.
Where have I been? Why haven’t I seen this video? The heartless comic book child within enjoyed this so much more than Batkid. In Pete Holmes’ Ex-Men skits, he imagines Professor X firing useless X-Men. In this video, Xaiver makes the easy decision to lay off Wolverine.
