We don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but as of this post (last updated 08/24/2017) there’s only one andpizza location in New York City. Their flagship opened a couple months ago in NoMad and now, like me, you’re fiending for personalized 16-inch pizzas closer to you.

.

I agree that a 15-minute bike ride is now too far to get food — New York has spoiled thee.  So until further notice, you’ll have to lyft, bike, walk, subway to &pizza’s NoMad location:

Don’t get too down because this post isn’t just bad news, this post also has some very good news for you. Actually two little tidbits of info that will get your blood pumping. First off, if you’re in Lower Manhattan, you’re in luck as &pizza is opening a storefront in Astor Place. Yes! That’s right. Look for it to open sometime in Fall 2017. Here’s the address and info we have:

The second piece of good news is even bigger. It’s more long term, so you’ll have to be patient, but it’s good news nonetheless. Are you ready to hear it?  Back in late 2016 &pizza put out a press release that announced the company had “received $25 million of growth capital to fund its rapid expansion into several major markets, including New York City”.

.

The public relations release didn’t say anything specific about how many locations the infusion of cash would result in, much less how many of that expansion plan would be in New York City. My opinion is that it’s safe to assume that the majority, or all, of that $25 million will be put toward NYC locations. I’d estimate that each location requires an average of between $3-4 million to open up — if that’s anywhere near the reality, then we can expect at least another 7-8 locations coming to Manhattan and New York City.

As news comes out, we’ll update this post.
