Very rarely does television surprise me, but Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst had me yelling “holy shit!”

After coming across the documentary on my HBO GO, I watched the first episode and was hooked. I then spent the next few days blowing through the rest of the docuseries.

Simply it’s one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. Well-done. A good pace. And it featured interviews with the subject of the film, the eccentric and odd yet intelligent Robert Durst who may have killed his wife, best friend and dismembered his neighbor.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole six-part series, but the last two episodes stood out for the shocking revelations; especially the unplanned ending that no one knew was coming.

That is all. Go watch it.
