I just spoke with my dad on the phone for almost 9 minutes which, must be, the longest I have ever spoken to him over the telephone. Yes, much of it was spent repeating my broken Chinese because he didn’t understand the hell I was talking about, but it’s still 9 minutes. I’ll take it.
